Best grown in the shade
Very pretty short wide spires of baby pink flowers are held proudly above a thick mat-forming leaf base. Flowers in spring but will continue to spot flower throughout the rest of the year. During cold months the foliage will turn burgundy red. Great for suppressing weeds. Attracts bees and butterflies.
Pretty white flowers in summer attractive to pollinating bees and butterflies. Contrasting dark green leaves, which turn shades of pale yellow, and bronze before falling in autumn. White berries can be held throughout winter, adding interest to the shrub border and a food supply to birds. Easy to grow in full to part shade.
