Pretty and dainty best describes the flowers of the Primrose rain lily. In late summer/early autumn, often after rain, the flowers suddenly appear. The long buds are often topped with a hint of pink at the top, which becomes the back of the soft pale yellow flower as it opens. Very hardy and can be left to naturalise in the garden or the meadow garden.
