Mound forming neat groundcover with heart shaped serrated leaves and very pretty mauve upward facing flowers in spring. Best in soft sun or part shade. Great edge to the garden bed as the foliage is attractive even when not in flower. Grows 5cm high x 50cm wide.
Oak leaf hydrangea with large panicles of the showy white flowers heads which gracefully age to pink held above large dark green leaves resembling pin oaks. Easy to grow in part shade to full sun. Grows 1-1.5m high and wide. Adaptable plant.
Cascading green foiliage with white new growth in spring. White leaves gradually turn green in summer when the purple spire flowers emerge. Grows to about 30cm. Best in part to full shade.
Best shade plant with evergreen leaves, fragrant vanilla scented white flowers in winter/spring with red berries to follow. Ideal pot plant for the verandah or under heavy shade in the garden. Can be trimmed to size. Looks good year round. Tolerant of neglect. My sort of plant!
