Compact deciduous tree/shrub, the Hungarian lilac is well worth adding to any garden. Lovely fragrant mid mauve flowers about 10 cm long smother the plant in spring. The golden autumn tones add to the beauty of this plant. Full sun. Grows in our garden to a neat rounded shrub about 2 metres each way.
