Ruscus microglossum

Unusual, hardy evergreen shrub for the shade, growing 1m x 1m. Can be used as a ground cover. The small white flowers, followed by red berries, appear out of the middle of the ‘leaf’ blade, which is actually a modified stem, in autumn/winter.
