Betula lenta seed

One of the best autumn colouring birch with strong golden foliage, and one of the earliest to turn. Commonly called ‘Sweet birch’ smell of wintergreen when the leaves or bark are crushed. The sap has been used to make birch beer. Grows to 10 metres.
