From clumps of strappy basal leaves rise tall flowering spires with a 'topknot' resembling a pineapple.
A deciduous shrub with fantastic autumn colour and eye catching hot pink/red seed pods which split open to display the bright orange seed. excellent for flower arranging with good vase life. Best grown in full to part sun. Very hardy, easily withstanding heavy frost and winds.
One of the prettiest miscanthus with flamingo pink flower heads which open to become slightly pendulous in summer. Good autumn tones in the foliage. Vigorous, upright habit. Supplied as open ground bare root stock. Limited supply.
A collectors treasure. A very different evergreen Veronicastrum which spreads as a vigorous groundcover with blue/purple flowers. Grows in sun or shade, however some protection from the afternoon sun is preferred.
