Native to North east Asia, this birch has stunning bark which can vary from white to pink to cream. Usually a multi-trunked tree that is very adaptable growing in most soil conditions. In very hard, dry, rocky sites it may only grow to a large shrub. Colours for autumn early and one of the first to go dormant for winter.
